We are a small breeder of Cavalier King Charles Spaniels located just outside of Fostoria Ohio. Our aim with our breeding program is to breed healthy, beautiful and loving Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppies that will be loved and cherished by their new family as much as we love them.
Our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppies are raised in our home along with their mommy’s and daddy so they are very well socialized with adults and other dogs. Our Cavaliers are registered with the American Kennel Club (AKC ) and they are regularly and fully checked by their family veterinarian Dr. Brad McClung, McClung’s Animal Hospital, Tiffin, Ohio.
Our Cavalier King Charles Spaniels have many champions in their bloodlines both American and British/European. It is easy to find out if one of your baby’s ancestors are champions just put the registered name into search in a web search page and you can read all about the ancestor of your baby.
LITTLE ABOUT US
Linda was introduced to the wonderful world of Cavalier King Charles Spaniels by Jacki who has been involved with Cavalier for over 20 years. Our first Cavalier here - Beauregard Ulysses 1st (Beaudy Beau for short) - Linda fell in love with him immediately and without too much time passing our girls, Piper Lee Alexander and Paige Lee Alexander were added and so our family of Cavalier King Charles Spaniels started here in the United States.
May 1st, 2008 Jessica joined our family. She is a beautiful Tri colored female Cavalier who made a welcome addition to our family. After Jessie came our gorgeous Molly (Lady Mia Mirrabooka). Molly is one of Paige’s babies and is affectionately known as the clown of our bunch. If you want a good laugh Molly will provide it for you.
August 20, 2009 Vicky & Dora (now known as Izzie B) came back to live with our family. Their mommy and daddy moved to where they were unable to take them and asked us if they could come back to live with us as she didn’t want them to go anywhere else; she wanted them to have the love and affection that she knows they will get here. Both were well accepted by our family but then again you wouldn’t expect anything else from Cavaliers.
February 24, 2010 Daniella was born to Piper and Beauregard. Jacki fell in love with her immediately as her markings are absolutely gorgeous and was having second thoughts of pursuing showing Cavaliers again due to the quality of our line of Cavaliers. There is a note about this at the bottom of this page.
May 14, 2010 we added Lord Cameron Lancelot of Charmed Onz to our family - his addition to our family and the love shown by our other babies towards him tells us that we made a great choice with him.
September 8, 2011 - our little Lord Spencer Montgomery was born to Jessica and Cameron. He loves everyone and everyone loves him! Dani, who usually doesn't have much time for little ones, plays and plays with her little boyfriend!
March 3, 2013 - our newest member, Lady Prudence Eloise of Charmed Onz joined our family. She loves to play with all of our babies and loves to please already going outside potty even in the snow!
Linda and Jacki have both had animals since we were young; Linda was raised on the back of a horse and always had a pet of some description. Jacki, always had dogs - from German Shepherds to Cocker Spaniels and finally Cavalier King Charles Spaniels.
Apart from our Cavalier King Charles Spaniels we have Socrates, a Peke, 14 years old, Phoebe a Cocker Spaniel 7 years old - so our house is our wonderful world of dogs.
We have been asked many times as to why we do not show our Cavaliers - I am answering it now so that people realize that it is not a fault in our line but instead the love that we have for our Cavaliers that prevents us from doing shows. I do not know if you know how much time is involved in showing just one dog let alone a few. Also the amount of traveling away from the rest of our babies to pursue recognition for something we already know and that is the wonderful markings and line we have here at Charmed Onz Cavaliers. Yes we know it gives recognition and prestige to a breeder but not every Cavalier produces champions and the time taken takes away the love we give to all of our babies and their babies when they are born. We start socialization from day one with new litters picking them up, playing with them, singing to them (thankfully initially they can’t hear) but getting them used to what life is going to be like when they get to their new families. Our Cavaliers are our babies, they live inside our house with us as it should be, they are our babies consequently this is the reason we ask prospective families to fill in the application form so we can see that they are going to be loved as much if not more than we do (if it is possible). Furthermore, they are also going to be part of our extended family and we love to be able to hear how all our offspring are doing in their new homes.
